2018 was the year of the Nike React Element 87. With it's translucent upper, React midsole and sleek design, this shoe set sneakerheads into meltdown every time they launched. Now, in 2019, the Oregon sportswear juggernauts are all set to releases the Nike React WR ISPA Velvet Brown.

Extending their ISPA (Improvise/Scavenge/Protect/Adapt) range, Nike are clearly focusing on fashion meets function for 2019. Taking the translucent upper from the React Element 87, the ISPA has the added bonus of being waterproof to adhere to the trail vibe.

Coming with a deep brown upper, this is contrasted perfectly by the grey midsole and details, orange branding and deep red hues found to the heel.

With IPSA taping found on the mudguard on the medial side, as you flip the shoe to the lateral, you have a bold and imposing Nike Swoosh taking up the majority of the sneaker.

The Nike React WR ISPA Velvet Brown will be available from February 23 at select Nike outlets and will retail at £150.
